the city of aspen canary initiative: zgreen- branding SYSTEM

The Canary Initiative outlines different steps the city of Aspen, Colorado and its community can take to help reduce their impact on the environment. Canary Tags and zGreen membership are two initiatives which directly targets the ski community. The city wanted to use the Colorado license plate as their main identity to create a strong association with the state's main natural resource. I was asked to design a campaign around this visual. I created a campaign "More Green, More White". The idea was simple; the more green canary tags seen on the slopes, the more carbon offsets, the more snow.
