Grant family farms

Based on my work with the Fort Collins Food Co-operative, Grant Family Farms approached me to help create an original design for their new egg carton labels. Using the original triangular logo and basing off their previous use of darker greens, I updated the logo, created an expanded color palette, and arranged a series of illustrations to use throughout their labeling systems. After creating the egg carton labels you see below, I was asked to create labels for their poultry (also seen below), and we are now working on labels for their other organic, pasture raised meats. The unique difficulty with this project was to consider all the restrictions placed by both state and federal guidelines for the sale and distribution of eggs and meats. Type size, location, and color restrictions applied to most of the information you see displayed. In the end the labels are informative, beautiful and pass all government inspections.
